These General Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the use of the website https://aiadoptionframework.eu and the associated app https://app.aiadoptionframework.eu, operated by Patrick Wilson (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

AI Adoption Framework provides self-assessment and educational tools to support responsible AI adoption. The platform is currently offered in beta and provided on a best-effort basis. Functionality may change at any time and no guarantees are given as to accuracy, availability, or continuity.

3. Eligibility

You may use the platform if you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements. If you represent an organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind it to these Terms.

4. User responsibilities

By using the platform, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information when creating an account or completing assessments.

• Not misuse the system or attempt to disrupt the service.

• Respect all intellectual property rights related to the content and materials on the platform.

• Use all outputs and recommendations solely for informational purposes and not as legal or professional advice.
  
  

5. Intellectual property

All content, materials, visual designs, assessments, frameworks, and tools made available on the platform, including but not limited to text, diagrams, downloadable files, and structured methods, are the exclusive intellectual property of AI Adoption Framework (operated by Patrick Wilson), unless otherwise stated.

This content is protected under applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to view and use the materials for personal or internal business purposes only.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, republish, download, distribute, translate, or transmit any part of the content, in any form or by any means, without prior written consent

• Modify or adapt the content for derivative use

• Remove or obscure copyright notices or brand identifiers

• Use the content in commercial publications, reports, or platforms without explicit permission

6. Privacy and data use

7. Use of AI

Currently, no automated decision-making or profiling is in use. If AI-based recommendations are introduced in the future, these will comply with the EU AI Act and applicable data protection law. You will be notified before such features are activated.

8. Credits and beta access

As part of the current beta program, users may receive free credits to explore and complete assessments such as the AI Maturity Scan. These credits are intended solely for platform use during the beta phase and:

• Have no monetary value

• Cannot be exchanged, transferred, or refunded

• Do not constitute payment or entitlement to a service level

We reserve the right to modify how credits are allocated or valued in the future. If paid credits or subscriptions are introduced, users will be informed in advance and terms will be updated accordingly.

9. Confidentiality

We treat all user and organizational information as confidential. Both parties agree not to share sensitive or identifiable data with third parties without prior written consent, unless required by law.

10. Termination

You may cancel your use of the platform at any time. In the event of future paid services, cancellation of such services may require a 30-day notice period. If custom tools or features are created, they may remain available to you, but support will end upon termination unless otherwise agreed.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable laws.

11. No guarantees of performance

All assessments, reports, recommendations and other outputs provided through the platform are intended for general informational purposes only. While we aim to provide accurate and valuable insights, the effectiveness of any action based on our materials depends on factors beyond our control, including user interpretation, business context and implementation.

We make no guarantees regarding the results or outcomes that may be achieved by applying the content, guidance, or strategies suggested on the platform. Users remain solely responsible for any decisions made based on the information provided.

Although we strive for quality and accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all content is free from errors, omissions, or outdated information. Due to the fast-moving nature of the subject matter, certain materials may become inaccurate over time.

12. Liability

The platform is provided “as is”. We make no warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Our total liability, where applicable, shall not exceed the amount paid by the user in the three months preceding the claim. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

We may revise these Terms at any time. Changes will be published on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the platform implies acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any dispute shall be brought before the competent court in The Hague.
